Bandai Namco recently unveiled the opening movie for the upcoming Tekken 8, and also announced the first season's DLC character. The familiar face joining the roster is Eddy Gordo, expected to enter the fray in spring 2024. Additional DLC characters are scheduled for release in the summer, fall, and winter.

Tekken 8 is a brand-new fighting game that marks a nine-year gap since its predecessor. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game not only offers an unparalleled visual experience and detailed character designs but also aims to deliver a visceral and exhilarating fighting experience.

According to the official description, the game is set against the backdrop of the world half a year after the events of Tekken 7. It follows the story of Jin Kazama as he challenges his father, Kazuya Mishima, in a struggle against fate, where he'll face powerful enemies and a series of brutal challenges.
