The side-scrolling action roguelite game BlazBlue: Entropy Effect, an officially authorized spin-off of the classic fighting game series BlazBlue, developed and published by the Chinese developer 91Act, is set to be released in its full version on January 31, 2024, on Steam after a four-month Early Access period.
This game is a brand-new roguelite action title based on BlazBlue, offering players a high-quality 2D action combat experience. Each character in the game has distinct motion design, allowing players to customize their battle actions according to their individual playstyle. Currently, the game features 7 characters and hundreds of moves to choose from.
Furthermore, elemental Tactics is also a crucial gameplay feature. Players can devise their tactics by choosing from eight elements (Lightning, Fire, Ice, Blade, Toxin, Light, Umbra, and Generic) and over 200 upgrades that synergize with their abilities, resulting in varied "reactions" like Burn, Freeze, Blind, Paralysis, and more.
BlazBlue: Entropy Effect features an alternate near-future world where people use a technology device called "ACE" to enter the virtual world. Here, they embody various characters for battles and adventures. The game's main storyline is propelled through dialogue choices, with different accumulative decisions leading to distinct paths. As the adventure unfolds, the initially inconspicuous narrative gradually deepens. Themes of duty, trust, salvation... Players will encounter numerous dialogue choices, and these decisions will alter the course and outcome of the story, crafting a highly immersive and memorable journey.
