在昨日任天堂举办的最新一届 Nintendo Direct 2024 直播节目中，官方宣布了《马力欧&路易吉 RPG》系列最新作《马力欧&路易吉 RPG 兄弟齐航！》的消息，这也是该系列暌违 9 年的完全新作。本作预定将在 2024 年 11 月 7 日于 Nintendo Switch 平台推出。

在《马力欧&路易吉 RPG 兄弟齐航！》中，马力欧与路易吉将探访漂浮在汪洋大海的各个岛屿，展开全新的冒险。故事背景舞台设定是和蘑菇王国在不同世界的「柯连库塔鲁大地」。玛利欧和路易吉必须齐心协力，解决旅途中阻碍他们的各种困难。
