Sunrise has recently announced the production of a new installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance (機動戦士ガンダム 復讐のレクイエム). The story will be set on the European front during the One Year War and will continue to explore themes of conflict and emotions, similar to previous entries in the series, and will focus on the stories between the pilots.

It is also worth mentioning that the animation production of Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance will be a collaboration between Sunrise and Safehouse, utilizing the advanced Unreal Engine 5 for rendering and production. Meanwhile, Erasmus Brosdau will serve as the director, and Gavin Hignight will be responsible of script writing.
