The Japanese romantic comedy manga series Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo ("The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You"), written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa, has announced today that it will be adapted into a TV anime, with the production team and voice casts also announced. The anime produced by Bibury Animation Studio is set to premiere within this year.
The story of Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo follows the protagonist, Rentaro Aijo, who had confessed his love to 100 girls before graduating from middle school, only to be rejected by all of them. On the last day of his middle school, he encounters the God of Love at a shrine who reveals that Rentaro will meet 100 soulmates in high school (the deity accidentally put two more zeros).
On the first day of high school, Ren Taro meets the first two girls, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, who both fall in love with him at first sight. Rentaro decides to date them both at the same time. As the story progresses, he will become involved in a multi-dimensional love relationship with an increasing number of girls.
