由韩国游戏公司 Smilegate RPG、HappyTuk 快乐玩公司负责代理的台服《失落的方舟：LOST ARK》原定将在 2023 年 1 月 12 日上市，结果在临近上市前官方突发宣布延期，并且没有给出实际的新上线时间，根据官方给出的理由是「需要提供给冒险家们更好的游戏体验及持续的版本更新，我们经过与原厂多番沟通与审慎评估后，决定需要更多时间来进行上市的准备」。此消息一出，直接惹怒大批期待着开服的玩家们，认为之前官方一直搞各种预热、宣传、饥饿行销等等，结果搞到最后关键时刻居然延迟，实在荒谬。
此外，也有传闻称之所以台服《失落的方舟：LOST ARK》延迟，可能是腾讯代理的陆服在 12 月 28 日刚刚过审，为避免中国玩家都先落脚台服，因此向开发商或代理商施压要求台服延后，但这些言论都只是猜测。
