This latest Tears of the Kingdom glitch can make you rich in minutes

A few days ago, Twitter user ItsBenjaninja shared a duplication glitch that he had discovered in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The glitch involves fusing the material that you wish to be duplicated onto an arrow, dropping the bow from your hand, equipping another bow, and quickly pressing the "+" button twice (pause and unpause). Then, drop the second bow on the ground, and you will notice that the material that was merged onto the arrow now has an extra copy in your inventory. It's worth mentioning that this glitch, which is becoming increasingly known, has not been fixed in the game's 1.1.1 update (as verified by our recent testing).

Following the game's latest update, players have discovered another infinite duplication bug. This time, it is easier to execute and allows for duplicating a larger quantity at once. According to Redditor USBdongle6727's instructions:

  1. Ensure that the material you want to duplicate is in the last slot of the materials tab.
  2. Jump from a high place and paraglide (or simply perform a shield surf on the spot, as long as you're in the air).
  3. In the menu, hold one copy of any disposable material and a maximum of four copies of the material you want to duplicate.
  4. Quickly press the "+" button twice.
  5. When you return to the menu, you will notice that the first material has disappeared, but the materials that you wish to duplicate are still in your inventory. Meanwhile, there will also be duplicated materials dropped on the ground. At this point, you can repeat steps 1-4 indefinitely while in mid-air..

It's important to note that if you repeat the cycle for more than four times, the materials on the ground may disappear. Therefore, be careful not to get too engrossed in duplicating while in mid-air and forget to pick up the items on the ground.

Currently, there are several known glitches in Tears of the Kingdom circulating online (which we haven't personally tested), many of which seems to involve the pause and unpause technique. As these glitches continue to spread widely on the internet, it's likely that Nintendo will soon take action to fix them, so those would want to accelerate their in-game progress should seize the opportunity while it lasts.
