在上个星期就有外媒爆料 PS3 & PSP & PSV 游戏商店将会关闭的消息，如今 Playstation 官方正式宣布了这个消息，确定 PS3 & PSP 商店会在 7 月 2 日关闭，随后在 8 月 27 日关闭 PSV 商店。
即使关闭商店，玩家已经购买的游戏/内容依然可以正常下载，但是无法在额外追加购买其他付费内容。同样的，如果有订阅 PS+ 的用户依然能下载过往领取的游戏作品。除此之外，凡是有支持 Cross-Buy 的 PS3 & PSP & PSV 游戏都皆可在 PS4 & PS5 / PS APP / PSN 商店购买得到，所有兑换码也还能正常使用，但不支持点卡充值。最后，如果玩家的账号上还有余额，可以将其消费在 PS4 & PS5 / PS APP / PSN 商店上，若是没有打算继续消费，而且只有 PS3 & PSP & PSV 主机的玩家，可以选择将所有余额退款(细节日后公布)。
