Koei Tecmo announced today that their historical simulation game, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8, will be receiving a remake in early 2024. This remake is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. They have also released the first trailer for the game and confirmed its participation at TGS2023!

This upcoming remake is based on the 2001 release Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 with Power-Up Kit. It will not only retain the strengths of the original, but also incorporates Koei Tecmo's latest technology to deliver enhanced visuals and a fully updated gameplay system. With over 20 years of history, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will stand as the latest installment in the series, bringing back the classic experience in a new light!
