由尾田荣一郎所创作的日本人气漫画作品《海贼王》于今日宣布，本作将在 6 月 27 日推出的周刊少年 Jump 30 号起进行休刊，预计在 2022 年 7 月 25 日推出的周刊少年 Jump 34 号复刊。同时，官方还在推特上公开由尾田荣一郎带来的亲笔信，里面有提到为什么会进行休刊的理由。
在尾田老师公开的亲笔信里，他提到了这个夏天要参与《海贼王》的活动实在太多了，首先是《海贼王》连载 25 周年纪念、剧场版《One Piece Film Red》上映的活动，加上漫画「和之国篇」即将进入尾声，而且 NETFLIX 翻拍的真人版影集也需要监修，同时还要继续讨论最终章的相关内容，所以责任编辑才会建议尾田老师休息一阵子。
