At the Granblue Fantasy Fes 2022-2023 event held earlier this year, Cygames officially announced the enhanced version of its fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus, titled Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising. The game is planned for release in 2023 for  Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / PC.

At the recent EVO Japan 2023 tournament, the developers not only released the latest trailer, which confirmed the addition of Siegfried as a playable character, but also announced that a beta test will be available for PS4 and PS5 players in May this year. The upcoming fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising not only retains the foundation of the first game, but also adds new actions, skills, characters, mechanisms, transitional scenes, and stories, among others. In terms of the combat system, it will support rollback netcode and cross-platform play, while also enhancing visual quality of combat animations. In addition, the game also includes the mini-game "Grand Bruise Legends", where players can play with dozens of other online players and participate in a variety of unique and interesting battle royale modes.
