At today's Ubisoft Forward livestream, Ubisoft released a brand-new trailer for their long-delayed tactical action game, Skull and Bones. It was also revealed that the game is scheduled to undergo a closed beta test from August 25 to 28, 2023. The game is set to launch for Playstation 5 / Xbox Series / PC, however, its official release date is yet to be announced.

Skull and Bones is an open-world multiplayer game that draws inspiration from the golden age of piracy in the Indian Ocean, where you will face various challenges on your way to becoming a notorious pirate. Craft unique ships and embark on immersive survival adventures in a vast oceanic world. Along the way, you will gather resources, expand your influence, and choose to adventure alone or team up with two friends to expand your pirate empire. The game offers game modes such as PvE or PvEvP modes, providing thrilling challenges including naval battles with other factions and pirates.
