Pory, a page dedicated to sharing news related to Nintendo and the Pokemon franchise on Twitter, recently shared the videos of Pokemon Red's HD-2D fan-made remake, created by 3D pixel artist Dott. The videos were first published on Dott's Youtube channel few months ago, showcasing Red's journey through Vermilion City and Pallet Town, which are recreated with breathtaking HD-2D graphics via Unreal Engine 5.
The tweet by Pory has since sparked viral discussion, and while it may not appeal to everyone, there are people who support the idea of remaking older Pokemon games with HD-2D graphics. As a fan of Triangle Strategy and Octopath Traveler, it's definitely fun to see other games being rendered in similar styles. What do you think?
