《Splatoon 3》的背景舞台设定于「尚兴地区」，那里是一片非常炎热又烈日高照的沙漠地带，而在该区域中心地带则是混杂的街道为主，名为「蛮颓镇」，许多喜欢对战的鱿鱼、章鱼都在此齐聚一堂。
