《Dragon Quest X 觉醒的五种族》原先是一款大型多人线上游戏，同时也是「Dragon Quest」系列第十部本传作品，而《Dragon Quest X 觉醒的五种族 Offline》将保留系列前作传统角色扮演游戏要素时，还会加入一些网络游戏要素，玩家可以自行选择与敌人战斗或者逃跑。
