The Pokemon Company revealed at the recent Pokemon Presents livestream that Pokemon: Paldean Winds, a four-episode original animated web series set in the Paldea region and animated by WIT STUDIO, is scheduled to premiere on September 6. The series will be available for viewing on the official Pokemon YouTube channel.
According to (translated) official description from the official Pokemon channel (Chinese),
"A treasure of my very own’? What’s that?"
The story takes place in the Paldea region, where there is abundant nature and harmony between humans and Pokémon.
One day, three students receive a request from the academy's director, Clavell.
"I would like you to help create a video introducing the charms of our academy for new and transfer students."
The introverted O'Hara excels at playing the flute but wants to escape the pressure that comes with performing; the naturally stubborn Alikis loves Pokémon battles and is determined to defeat Nemona; while the naive Homa often causes trouble for others due to his obsession with finding exclusive headlines.
Caught up in their own concerns, their collaboration doesn't seem to go smoothly. However, as they spend time with Pokémon and grow together, the three of them gradually develop a sense of teamwork...
