Capcom and Niantic recently announced the October events for their new mobile game, Monster Hunter Now. According to the announcement, a hunt event for the subspecies "Pink Rathian" is scheduled for October 9 to October 15, 2023.
However, many players (myself included) waited for several hours since midnight and still didn't see any Pink Rathians in-game. Frustrated players took to various social media platforms to express their disappointment, making people wonder if the event was really happening today.
In response, Niantic released an announcement today, stating that the subspecies Pink Rathian was indeed scheduled to appear worldwide today. However, they clarified that the subspecies will only appear in-game starting from 8 AM on October 9, 2023 (GMT+8). They also expressed their apologies for any misunderstandings and inconvenience caused to the players.
And thus, the event has begun officially and will run until October 15, 2023, at 3:59 PM (GMT+8) for players with an HR level of 11 or higher and have completed the ninth chapter. Pink Rathians will appear in the forest area, but due to it being subspecies, its appearance rate will be relatively low.
