Netflix recently announced that the live-action adaptation of the classic manga, YuYu Hakusho, which took five years to create, is set to premiere globally on December 14.

The main cast includes:

• Kurama (Jun Shison)
• Hiei (Kanata Hongo)
• Kazuma Kuwabara (Shuhei Uesugi)

YuYu Hakusho is a work created by the renowned Japanese manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994 and has since inspired various adaptations, including TV anime, games, stage plays, and other works.

The original story of YuYu Hakusho follows the tale of Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old delinquent who, after dying in a car accident while trying to save a child, gets a second chance at life through a twist of fate. He becomes an Underworld Detective, attempting to solve various supernatural incidents.
