《大富翁》系列初代作品于 1989 年正式推出，以黑白画面和传统桌游玩法为主，玩家可以透过投掷骰子移动以及购买房产，同时还增加了传统玩法没有的元素，例如期货、股票等投资内容。随着时间推移，后续还推出了多款系列续作，并且基于初代玩法追加了更多有趣的玩法，备受世界各地的华人玩家爱戴，更陪伴了无数人的童年。
