Type-Moon 在一年一度的“Fate Project New Year's Eve TV”特别节目将近尾声时，突然公开重磅惊喜内容，那就是粉丝们千呼万唤的作品《月姬 重制版》的消息，并表示本作预定将在 2021 年夏季推出，登陆 Playstation 4 / Nintendo Switch 平台。
此外，官方还在特别节目中释出《月姬 重制版》的宣传预告片，同时发表相关制作团队资料等。本作主题歌将由「ReoNa」为我们献唱「生命线」，至于声优阵容有少许变动。
