The multiplayer co-op horror game Phasmophobia, developed by Kinetic Games, was initially released in early access on Steam in 2020. Since then, the game has garnered hundreds of thousands of positive reviews. Recently, it was announced that the game is  planned to be launched on PlayStation 5 / PlayStation VR2 / Xbox Series in August this year, supporting cross-platform gameplay.

According to the game's official Steam page, Phasmophobia is a 4-player, online co-op, psychological horror game. You and your team of paranormal investigators will enter haunted locations filled with paranormal activity and try to gather as much evidence as you can. Use your ghost-hunting equipment to find and record evidence to sell on to a ghost removal team.
