Blizzard's Diablo IV was recently released and has since gained tremendous popularity. Within just four days of early access release, the total accumulated playtime of all players on the server reached 93 million hours. As the game has just been launched, it is not surprising that many players and streamers are tirelessly grinding and leveling up their characters.
One particular streamer, Souaïb 'carn' Hanaf, invested a significant amount of time into intense grinding. As a result, he achieved the remarkable feat of being the first player to reach level 100 in hardcore mode. Unfortunately, his joy was short-lived when he encountered a sudden disconnection during a livestream, only to log back in and discover that his Barbarian character had died permanently. 82 hours of his hard work vanished in an instant ... In hardcore mode, when a character dies, all progress is lost, and the only option is to start over and rebuild the character from scratch.
