The action RPG World Flipper, developed by Cygames, has officially announced that it will cease operation on February 20, 2024, with in-game purchases expected to stop on December 18.
However, before this, the official announcement mentions that on November 30, 2023, the final gacha pool will be introduced, and in mid-December, new bosses, equipment, and weapons will be added as updates.
The game has been in operation for at least four years since its launch on November 27, 2019.
In addition to the official announcement from the Japanese version, the traditional Chinese version of World Flipper, published by Gamania Digital, has also announced the schedule for the game's final operation.
Unlike the Japanese version, which will cease operation on February 20, 2024, the traditional Chinese version will continue its operation until its third anniversary on May 24, 2024.
The game content following the Japanese version's progress will be updated until February 20, 2024, and subsequent events will mainly focus on reruns of previous content.
