The new Pokémon mobile game Pokémon Sleep was announced in the earlier Pokemon Presents live broadcast, and is scheduled to be launched for iOS / Android in the upcoming summer.
The idea behind the game is to make people "look forward to waking up in the morning". Taking place on a small island, the game allows players to meet the great big Snorlax and Professor Neroli who studies Pokémon sleep.
The gameplay is pretty simple, as you only need to get a good night's sleep and leave your mobile phone by your side when you go to bed. Your sleep will be measured, recorded, and analyzed. According to the player's sleep type during the previous night, Pokémons of the same sleep type will gather around Snorlax. It seems to be a casual game for players to collect Pokémon and observe their sleeping patterns.
At the same time, the new Pokémon GO Plus+ device was also announced, which can facilitate players on measuring their own sleep in Pokémon Sleep. The Pikachu residing inside could even sing lullabies or serve as an alarm. In addition, it can also provide various convenient functions for Pokémon GO players, such as automatically spinning Poké stops, throwing regular Pokéballs at Pokémon, as well as the choice to throw Great Balls and Ultra Balls at the press of a button. There are also future plans to add new features to Pokémon GO that will utilize your sleep data collected in Pokémon Sleep. More information will be announced in the future.
