近日，外媒 GTPlanet 在 Gran Turismo 25 周年纪念活动上采访了《Gran Turismo》制作人山内一典，并提到鉴于索尼 Playstation Studios 近些年来陆陆续续的把第一方作品带到 PC 平台，例如《God of War》、《Marvel's Spider-Man》、《UNCHARTED》等等，那么 Polyphony Digital 所研发的《Gran Turismo》是否也会考虑这样做。
山内一典给出的回应：“是的，我确实这么认为，但是《Gran Turismo》是款经过精心调校的游戏，能够以 4K/60P 原生运行游戏的平台并不多，因此为了实现这一目标的一种方法就是缩小平台范围。这不是一个很容易的主题，但当然，我们正在研究并考虑它（指研究和考虑登 PC 平台）。”
