此前，Electronic Arts 旗下的开发团队 EA Motive 就透露会与 Marvel 联手合作研发以《Iron Man》为主题的全新单人动作冒险游戏。而近日，双方公司正式宣布达成长期合作协议，将研发至少三款漫威宇宙原创的主机 & PC 动作冒险游戏，第一款就是上述提到的《Iron Man》。
《Iron Man》为主题的游戏新作将以原创叙事为特色，挖掘钢铁侠丰富的历史，让玩家能够体验扮演充满魅力的钢铁侠。并由曾经参与过《Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy》等漫威游戏作品的 Olivier Proulx 来负责领导团队。
