由 Rebellion 所研发的《Sniper Elite》系列最新续作《Sniper Elite 5》今日正式宣布完成制作进厂压盘（GONE GOLD），即将于今年 5 月 26 日准时发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X&S / PC 平台，同时也会在 Xbox Game Pass 首发推出。
本作《Sniper Elite 5》背景设定在 1944 年的法国，讲述着菁英射手 Karl Fairburne 与法国抵抗军取得了联系，很快便发现一个秘密的纳粹计划，这个计划有可能在盟军入侵欧洲之前结束战争，所以将需要奋力的破坏此计划。官方表示，本次的新作将提供系列有史以来最身临其境的地图，以惊人的细节还原许多真实世界，可以探索的地方会比以往作品来得还要多，每个任务也增加了更多的潜入点以及撤离点，玩家可以选择单人或与多人合作完成任务。
