《Ratchet & Clank:Rift Apart》是款第三人称射击冒险游戏，讲述着主角 Ratchet 与伙伴 Clank 被分离，而他们尝试重聚的途中遭遇了全新的敌人，并开始探索全新以及熟悉的地区，快速穿梭不同的世界时空，同时还可以使用各种全新的武器。除此之外，本作也会利用 Playstation 5 主机的性能，提供玩家非常流畅的游戏加载速度。
