At today's Xbox Developer_Direct, Obsidian Entertainment announced that their upcoming first-person fantasy RPG Avowed is set to be released in the fall of 2024. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup upon launch.

According to the game's official Steam description,

Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
