This year, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the organizers of E3, invited ReedPop, known for organizing major events like PAX, EGX, Comic-Con, and more, to manage E3 2023. However, due to a lack of participation from industry giants and other reasons, E3 2023 had to be canceled.

Several months later, ReedPop and ESA officially announced the termination of their collaboration. In the future, ReedPop will no longer be involved in organizing any events related to the E3 gaming expo, while ESA still plans to host E3 2024, although the event's venue will no longer be the originally planned Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC).
