The popular Japanese light novel series KonoSuba, created by Natsume Akatsuki, released a special trailer for the upcoming season three of its anime adaptation during the recent Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary Festa.
For the first time, the lineup of new voice actors joining the cast was also revealed.
The anime is scheduled to begin airing in 2024, and the production is being handled by Drive, also the team behind KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!
In KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, after experiencing a humiliating death, Kazuma Satou, a NEET, is given a choice by a beautiful yet annoying goddess named Aqua: he can either proceed to heaven or be reborn in a fantasy world. Opting for a fresh start, Kazuma is immediately tasked with defeating a Demon King who is wreaking havoc in nearby villages. Before embarking on his quest, he can choose one item to aid him, and he selects Aqua. However, Kazuma soon realizes his grave mistake, as Aqua is utterly useless! Their troubles, however, are far from over. Instead of an exciting adventure, they must first find ways to earn money for their basic needs, thus their series of unfortunate events has only just begun!
