During today's Naraka: Bladepoint livestream event, developer 24 Entertainment announced a collaboration with the creator of Gundam, Kunio Okawara, to create a Gundam-inspired appearance for the hero Yueshan in the Wuxia-themed battle royale game, which is set to debut in early summer 2024. Alongside in-game aesthetics, physical figurines will also be released for players to collect.
The official announcment also mentioned that elements from renowned Chinese martial arts styles such as "Tai Chi", "Shaolin", "Xingyi", "Wing Chun", and "Baguazhang" is set to be integrated into the game. This infusion will bring more diversity to the battlefield, introducing elements of dynamic hand-to-hand combat alongside weapon clashes.
Furthermore, a collab with the web animation Soul Land (Douluo Continent) was also announced. Popular characters from the series, including "Tang San" and "Xiao Wu," along with two mysterious characters, will be featured as heroes within the game.
