Publisher Bliss Brain has announced that the release date for Princess Maker 2 Regeneration, the 30th-anniversary commemorative edition developed by CFK, has been postponed from the initially scheduled date of December 21, 2023, to May 30, 2024, in order to further enhance game quality.
The game is planned to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
The Princess Maker series was developed by GAINAX and released as a classic child-raising game in 1991. Princess Maker 2 Regeneration is remastered based on the 2004 release Princess Maker 2 Refine. In this new version, the crucial in-game images will be redrawn by Takami Akai, aiming for a style closer to the original PC-98 version. Moreover, to adapt to the modern gaming environment, the game's visuals will be presented at a higher resolution featuring enhanced visual details.
In the game, you'll raise your daughter for eight years, from ages ten to eighteen. She will grow up to be an adult through various experiences in the game. While her dream is to become a princess, a wide variety of opportunities await depending on how you raise her. What kind of dream will you make come true for your daughter? As a side note, the game also features a brand new opening movie, allowing new "fathers" to gain a preview of the experience of raising their "daughter".
