Developer NetherRealm Studios, in collaboration with publisher Warner Bros. Games, has introduced a thrilling Banished trailer for the highly anticipated series reboot, Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer showcases the return of Reptile (Syzoth), Ashrah, and Havik as playable characters, with Sareena featured as one of the upcoming Kameo Fighters. The game is set for release on September 19 this year, available on Playstation 5 / Xbox Series / Nintendo Switch / PC.

Mortal Kombat 1 introduces a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and fatalities! In the game, players will be able to discover a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by the Fire God Liu Kang. The confirmed roster of playable characters includes Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, Smoke, Rain, among others.
