SEGA and Marvelous have released the opening animation for their upcoming coming-of-age RPG LOOP8: Summer of Gods, which is set to be released on June 1 for Playstation 4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch and June 7 for Steam.

LOOP8: Summer of Gods tells the story of the protagonist Nini, who lost his home and family in a disaster and came to live with his mother's relatives in a peaceful village. In the game, players will play as Nini, living in this small town, searching for humans possessed by Kegai and engaging in battles with them. Players can also build relationships with the people around them and enjoy limited leisure time. Additionally, the game features an emotional AI system that presents characters with realistic emotions. Each character's behavior will change according to the atmosphere, desires, and relationships, providing a unique experience each time the game is played.
