Recently, CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association) provided more information for the annual Tokyo Game Show, confirming that in 2023, the entire Tokyo Makuhari Exhibition Center (HALL 1-11) will be used, and the event will be held online and offline from September 21 to 24. Moreover, the online exhibition will last one more week than the offline event, ending on October 1. This year's Tokyo Game Show is expected to be the largest hybrid event ever held.

In addition, at the 2023 Tokyo Game Show, the organizers will strive to use all platforms, online and offline venues, and other resources to provide the world with the latest news on the gaming industry, in response to the growing interest in gaming among the public. At the same time, this year's event will lift the age limit, allowing people under 12 years old to enter, and restore multiple areas such as cosplay areas and family areas.

Last year's Tokyo Game Show was subject to various limitations due to the pandemic, which prevented many overseas exhibitors and attendees from coming to the event. Nonetheless, around 140,000 people visited the offline exhibition, and the official program received 26.98 million views, indicating strong momentum. With the easing of pandemic policies, the organizers boldly predict that this year's attendance will reach 200,000 people and there will be 2,000 booths.
