The theatrical anime adaptation titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out, based on the eight volume of the popular Japanese light novel series Rascal Does Not Dream written by Hajime Kamoshida, has recently released its main trailer. The movie, produced by CloverWorks, is set to premiere this year on June 23 in Japan.
In Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out, Sakuta is almost done with his second year of high school, following a tiring December. Time is running out for him and Mai to spend together as she is a third-year student. Meanwhile, Kaede is gradually exploring the outdoors again. However, she surprises Sakuta by expressing her desire to attend his high school, a challenging goal for her. Though Sakuta wants to support her, he's uncertain if this is truly what she wants or what's best for her ...
