Created by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum's Wish), TV anime adaptation of the manga series Oshi no Ko has released an all-new trailer.

Performed by YOASOBI, the anime's opening theme song Idol (アイドル) could be heard in the trailer.

Oshi no Ko anime is set to premiere in April 2023, with the 90-minutes long first episode set to be released in advance at selected theatres in Japan on March 23.

Oshi no Ko tells the story of gynecologist Goro Amemiya who was killed short after being tasked with the delivery of the twins of Ai Hoshino, a Japanese idol whom he admires. After he awakens, he finds himself reincarnated as one of Ai Hoshino's newborn twins, Aquamarine Hoshino.
