Blizzard Entertainment recently announced that several of their games will be made available on Steam, with Overwatch 2 being the first to launch on August 10. In the past, Blizzard's PC games were exclusively accessible through their own Battle.net platform. According to the publisher, this endeavor is an attempt to make their game titles more accessible to players around the world.
It's important to note that even though players will be able to play Overwatch 2 on Steam, a Battle.net account is still required to access the game. Meanwhile, fans of other Blizzard games can also look forward to more titles joining Steam in the near future, such as Diablo IV and World of Warcraft, among others.
