同时根据开发者 hiapiar 指出，《The Bible》是一款电子书模拟游戏，所采用的内容是旧约和新约的圣经内容。本作中除了拥有章节记录和存档以外，还时不时会出现 100 个问题来测试玩家是不是不小心睡着了。当然《The Bible》圣经内容目前只有英文版本获得授权，其余版本的话，作者表示《The Bible》收入足够便会聘请翻译人员让其支援更多语言。
