Publisher and developer TiMi Studios has unveiled the official announcement trailer and a Developer Deep Dive video for their latest creation, the free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter Delta Force: Hawk Ops. The long-awaited new game in the series is set to launch on PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, with pre-registration now open.
According to the developers, Delta Force: Hawk Ops will introduce a diverse array of Operators, each equipped with their own signature weapon, combat skills, and exclusive items. The original Delta Force experience has been reconstructed using the latest cutting-edge engine, combined with the studio's own graphic technology. The development team even embarked on an expedition to Northwest Africa to personally survey the local terrain, ensuring a more authentic representation of the in-game world.
Moreover, the studio collaborated with actual Navy SEALs as advisors to ensure an accurate portrayal of in-game Operators. Teaming up with technology giants like Nvidia, AMD, and Intel, the game also pledges to deliver "truly remarkable visual effects", including ray-tracing, DLSS3, and reflex technology. Additionally, the enemy AI has been enhanced to offer more formidable challenges. It's also worth noting that the iconic title of the series, Black Hawk Down, will be resurrected as a single-player campaign mode within the game.
