Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising set for November 30 release!

As the EVO 2023 fighting game tournament kicks off, many fighting games are expected to announce related news, including the enhanced version of Granblue Fantasy: Versus by Arc System Works and Cygames, titled Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising. The latest update revealed the release date for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, and it's officially set to launch on November 30, 2023, for PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / PC.

The official announcement also stated that the second closed beta test will commence in the fall of 2023. This test will include lobby matches, crossplay functionality, and the Grand Bruise Legends minigame, among other features. The developers are also planning some gameplay adjustments, but more details about this will be disclosed in the near future. Furthermore, it's worth noting that this test will be available on Steam as well, thus fans on PC should make sure not to miss out on the opportunity to participate in the beta!

The upcoming fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising not only retains the foundation of the first game, but also adds new actions, skills, characters, mechanisms, transitional scenes, and stories, among others. In terms of the combat system, it will support rollback netcode and cross-platform play, while also enhancing visual quality of combat animations. In addition, the game also includes the mini-game "Grand Bruise Legends", where players can play with dozens of other online players and participate in a variety of unique and interesting battle royale modes.
