In today's Final Fantasy VII Rebirth State of Play livestream event hosted by PlayStation, the game's final trailer and a new gameplay video was revealed. The PlayStation 5 demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available for download on the PlayStation Store page, with a total size of approximately 49 GB.
The demo version offers players the opportunity to play the "Nibelheim episode" and take on the roles of both Cloud and Sephiroth. Following an update on February 21, 2024, players will be able to explore the "Junon area", but only after completing the previous episode. Players who complete the demo version will be able to skip the same section in the full release.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled for release on February 29, 2024, as a PlayStation 5 limited-time exclusive.
