Announced via the official Twitter account of the series earlier today, Ubisoft's upcoming title Assassin's Creed Mirage, developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, has gone gold and is now scheduled for an earlier release.
The game is now slated to launch on October 5 (one week earlier than its previously planned October 12 release), available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
Meanwhile, don't forget to check out the game's story trailer released during the Ubisoft Forward event:
Set primarily in 9th-century Baghdad, a time known as the Islamic Golden Age, Assassin's Creed Mirage will delve into the journey of Basim Ibn Ishaq. Basim, originally a street thief, undergoes a transformation as he becomes a dedicated member of the Assassin Brotherhood, who strives for peace and freedom, standing in opposition to the Templar Order, who seek to impose control in the name of peace.
