本作《卧龙：苍天陨落》是由《血源诅咒》制作人山际真晃与《仁王》的制作人安田文彦联手打造，背景设定于黑暗幻想、恶魔肆虐的三国时代，讲述着一位无名民兵为了生存而战的故事，玩家将使用基于中国武术的剑术来对抗各种邪恶生物和敌方士兵，试图唤醒潜在的真正力量来克服一切困难。
