Sid Meier's Civilization finally announces the ongoing development of a new game in the series.

Released back in October 2016, it has been almost 7 years since the launch of Civilization 6.

Could this be Civilization 7? Or would it be a spin-off game like Civilization Revolution? Guess we'll have to wait for more news from the developers.

Designed by Sid Meier and developed by Firaxis Games, the Civilization series is a run of turn-based strategy games, where players have to lead a civilization, started from the ancient era, towards modernization through city building, scientific researches, diplomacy, cultural growth, and military development. The first game was launched back in 1991, with multiple sequels and expansions released since then. The series is regarded as one of the classics of turn-based strategy games.
