最近的中国的娱乐内容不断被打压，一开始的未成年防沉迷限制、接着是抖音使用限制，现在突然全面下架大家的童年特摄片《迪迦奥特曼》，虽然还不知道真正的下架原因，网友推测可能是因为家长们举报其内容具有暴力、犯罪等等倾向，加上江苏省消保委前阵子发布过「动画领域侵害未成年人成长安全消费调查报告」，其中名单就包括《迪迦奥特曼》。
除了《迪迦奥特曼》以外，中国动漫《刺客伍六七》、日本动漫《Re：从零开始的异世界生活》和《成神之日》都被同步下架。巧合的是，后面这三部作品也都在调查报告的名单内。中国网民还在网上发文调侃说道，都是看着《奥特曼》长大的家长，如今却来举报有何居心。当然了，以上的原因都均是猜测，准确原因有待平台官方亲自说明。
