The Pokemon Company confirmed that the latest Pokemon Presents will take place at 4pm February 27 (GMT+8), in celebration of the Pokemon Day. The livestream could be viewed at The Official Pokemon Youtube Channel.
Pokemon Presents usually delivers major announcements related to the mainline titles of the Pokemon games, as well as other spin-off projects.
It is speculated that DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is more than likely to be announced soon. The first major DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield titled The Isle of Armor was released in June 2020, thus we might be seeing the same pattern here.
Another presumed announcement is regarding a possible new entry to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Reddit user u/Clemdoggy found out that there is a copyright attributed to Spike Chunsoft in the new Pokemon page launched to celebrate the Pokemon Day.
For those who don’t know, Spike Chunsoft is the developer behind the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon spin-off series. Fans might want to see a remake of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, but it could be more likely that a completely new game would be announced instead of a remake, as it has been eight years since the release of the previous new game within this series, and the only Mystery Dungeon currently available on Switch is a remake of the 2005 game.
Further information will be followed up on Pokemon Day 2023.
