The sequel to the first-person zombie survival shooter game series with the same name, Arizona Sunshine 2, developed and published by Vertigo Games, was revealed today during the PlayStation Showcase 2023 livestream event. The game is expected to be released on the PSVR2 / Steam VR platform within this year. It's worth noting that Steam VR is compatible with various VR device such as the Oculus Rift, HTC VIVE, Valve Index, and more.

Arizona Sunshine 2 features your return to the sun-drenched and zombie-infested Arizona, once again stepping into the shoes of the dark-humoured protagonist. In this post-apocalyptic world, where ammunition is scarce and precious, you'll experience the adrenaline rush of realistic combat, wielding a variety of new and beloved weapons—from shotguns and machetes to flamethrowers. Accompanied by a new friend, prepare to be pushed to your limits with an all-new melee combat system as you dispatch hordes of Freds (a.k.a. the zombies) like never before, immersing yourself in the thrilling and visually stunning next-generation experience.
