The fantasy light novel series Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, created by Kei Azumi with illustrations by Mitsuaki Matsumoto, has released its first trailer for the upcoming second two of anime adaptation. Additional voice cast information was also announced at the same time. The anime is confirmed to begin airing in January 2024, with J.C.STAFF now handling the anime production in place of C2C.
The story of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy revolves around Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school student who is summoned to another world as a Hero. However, the goddess who summoned him deems him as "hideous" and thus strips him of his Hero title, throwing him into a distant wasteland. Lost and unsure of what to do, Makoto encounters the Greater Dragon Tomoe and defeats her with his inherent physical and magical capabilities, thereby forming a contract with her. Abandoned by both humans and gods, it's up to Makoto and his companions to decide how should they survive in this fantasy world.
